ANNUAL MEETING & BOARD ELECTIONS:
OCTOBER 1, 2019 @ 7PM, COMMUNITY CENTER
 
VOTING ENDS AT 8:30PM; NO BALLOTS OR PROXIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
 
The office will be closed November 28 & 29, 2019 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
 
 
Your 2019 Ballot/Proxy has been mailed. If you are voting by Absentee ballot, it must be received in the Community Office by noon, October 1, 2019.  You may vote in person at the meeting or give your proxy to an individual of your choice to vote at the meeting for you.  Your participation is needed to achieve a quorum.

NOMINATINONS FOR 2019 OCTOBER ELECTION: Ballots were mailed September 11, 2019.  However, if you are interested in serving on the Board, please submit your name to the office; nominations will also be taken from the floor at the October meeting. Three (3) board seats are open due to term expiration. Write-in candidates are permitted
 
 
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FEE:  Again, there will be no increase in the Annual Maintenance Fee.  Assessment for 2020 is $250; due January 2, 2020. Invoices are scheduled to be mailed during the middle of November, 2019.  Please call the office to update any change in your billing address.
 
 
THANK YOU!!! …to the many volunteers who showed up and provided help in both the Neighborhood Clean Up Day and the 4th Annual Back to School Bash.  The total cost of each event was $4,051 and $7,793, respectively.
Looking forward to next year!!! Your suggestions are welcomed.

Blanket/Sock Drive: Dec. 2-13; 10AM – 5PM @Community Center
Winter White Dance: Sat., Dec, 14; 6-9PM @ Community Center
 
 
PINE TRAILS’ SEMI-ANNUAL COMMUITY GARAGE SALE: Sat., October 19, 2019, 8 AM-7PM.  An advertisement will be placed in the local Green Sheet one week prior to the event. The sale event will also be displayed on the community’s marquee. No homeowner signs are to be posted prior to Friday before the sale event. All signs are to be removed by homeowners immediately following the end of the sale.      Sat., October 26, 2019, will be the rainout date. If anyone would like to coordinate this sale event or has suggestions, please call the office.
 
 
NEW LAWS: Smoking Age: The smoking age has been raised from 18 to 21; it is now illegal to buy, use or possess tobacco and vaping products for those under the age of 21. Violations could bring a $100 fine, although members of the military who are at least 18 years old are exempted from the new age limit.
Stealing packages: Thieves who steal packages from people’s front porches will start facing stiffer penalties. Penalties range from a Class A misdemeanor to a third-degree felony, depending on the number of addresses mail is taken from
