MESSAGE- Monthly Open Board meetings are currently not being held at the Community Center to comply with mandated COVID-19 guidelines and safety measures. The Board is meeting monthly in Executive Session via teleconference calls in order to conduct ongoing business as necessary. Minutes of those sessions will be read at the next regular Open Meeting.

Though the State currently allows restricted gatherings with guidelines, the Association is not in a position to meet all of the safety measures in respect to crowd control, constant cleaning and sanitizing of common areas. The Pine Trails Office, Community Center and Playground is closed to the public until further notice. The office is manned to communicate via phone, email or fax; forms, payments, requests, etc. may be placed in the door drop box.

CONGRATULATIONS TO 2020 PINE TRAILS GRADUATES - Missing out on the traditional graduation ceremony due to COVID-19 was truly disappointing to graduates across the country. Consequently, the Association offered a “SALUTE TO PINE TRAILS 2020 GRADUATES”; sixty-four (64) congratulatory cards and helium filled balloons were delivered to each address displaying a graduate sign or called into the office.  The Association, on behalf of the entire community acknowledged their first life milestone. Much thanks and appreciation to those volunteers* who canvassed the neighborhood gathering addresses, shopped for items/supplies, addressed cards, filled balloons and made deliveries. (*A. Benedict, K. Burns, S. Denson, J. Drennon, J. Fuentes, C. Joseph, M. Lester,
H. Lewis, I. Morales, F. Pradier & T. Sims)  Total cost, $ 150.

PET OWNER REMINDER- Any person in control of a dog or cat is required to promptly remove and dispose of, in a sanitary manner, feces left by the dog or cat. Any person in control of a dog or cat is required to be in possession of materials to remove feces left by the dog or cat. This does not apply to feces left in the owner's own yard.

Per House Bill 940, effective September 1, 2019, it is a criminal offense for owners to unlawfully restrain their dogs with chain leashes if they don’t provide adequate shelter, food and water for their animals; a dog’s leash must be at least ten feet long or five times the length of the dog if left unattended outside.
Pine Trails’ residents may contact board member Norma Martinez through the office, for resources in regard to this.

THANK YOU, HOMEOWNERS
Very many of you have been making repairs and remolding the exterior of your homes during this COVID-19 season; and in keeping with the deed restriction guidelines the majority of you have completed the required ACC form prior to beginning the work. For this, the AC Committee is especially thankful and has worked diligently to review, inspect and reply to your request as quickly as possible….in most cases within days. You working in accord with the Board in adhering to the guidelines improves our community overall in addition to improving the value of your property.
