BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE: “Yard of the Month” awards will be presented to selected homeowners for the months, April thru September. Winners receive $25, a Certificate and the roving “Yard of the Month,” sign to place in their front yard. Please call the office if you are interested in serving on the committee or would like to nominate a yard for consideration.
HOUSE NUMBER – Is your number easily visible for all important services: Emergency Medical Services, 911 Responses, Postman, Deliveries, Repairmen, Family and Friends? Prominently displayed numbers saves time and possibly a life.
ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE (ACC)-The Association is still in need of volunteers to restructure this committee as mandated by new state laws. This three plus (3+) member committee of community volunteers is responsible for reviewing proposed exterior home changes to ensure they follow the architectural guidelines that are set in the Associations’ governing documents; to ensure uniformity throughout the community and help maintain property values. This committee needs to be restructured As Soon As Possible. Training and Guidelines are available. Please contact the office (281-458-6764) if you are interested and would like further information.

HARRIS COUNTY PRECINCT 2: Pine Trails neighborhood is now part of Precinct 2. Adrian Garcia is the Commissioner. Cindy Miller is Community Liaison; her office is located in the Jim Fontenot Annex (JFA). The Main Contact Line for all County Services including Animal Control, Dead Animal Pick Up, Permits, Roads & Bridges, Mosquito Control, and etc. is 713-274-2222. Or visit the website: www.hcp2.com, click on Service Request for the drop-down menu; choose North Chanel for area type.
LOT MAINTENANCE: Springtime. Time to step up to regularly maintain lawns, curbs and fence areas in a sanitary, healthful and attractive manner. Maintenance extends from the edge of the house to the curb in the front, from the edge of the house to the middle of the alley in the back, and from the edge of the house to the side curb for corner lots; mow outside /alleyways along fences as well. Mattresses, ladders, furniture, garbage/trash cans, materials, etc. should not be stored openly on patios, in side yard i.e. visible from the street. Do not put debris in Street Drains. Non-compliance of above is a Deed Restriction Violation and will be strictly enforced.
PINE TRAILS’ SEMI-ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE: Saturday, April 23, 2022, 8 AM-8 PM. An advertisement will be placed in the local Green Sheet one week prior to the event. If three or more homeowners on the same block call the office to report their sale, the block location will be placed on the marquee as space allows. Also, the homeowners must agree to limit their sales to the sanctioned semi-annual April and October events. NO homeowner announcement sale signs are to be posted prior to the Friday before the sale event. All signs are to be removed by homeowners immediately following the end of the sale. Rain date: Saturday, April 30, 2022.
