Welcome to Pine Trails COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION
AQUA TEXAS RATE INCREASE
We need signed petitions! Aqua Texas is proposing a MAJOR INCREASE to both water and sewer rates for Pine Trails residents. Water rates would jump from a flat $3.70 per 1,000 gallons to a tiered system, charging as much as $5.49 per 1,000 gallons for high usage. Sewer charges would rise from $54.01 to $96.9, this is nearly a 80% increase.
If 10% or more of customers file a protest, the rate increase can be reviewed and challenged through a public hearing. If not, it will automatically take effect, with no further input from the public.
Protests must be submitted within a short window after notice. We recommend filing no later than August 15, 2025 to ensure your voice is heard.
