news

Hello Neighbor,
The past few months has been very trying for the Pine Trails Community with the derecho (May16, 2024),
Beryl (July 8, 2024) and the street closures due the continuation of flood mitigation.  We continue to clean up our community.  But the process has been slow the day Beryl hit was Pine Trails last pick up date from the derecho storm.  We are basically back to square one as far as clean up goes.  Harris County brought some clear bags to the office to put your tree branches in for pick up.  Please come to office to get those bags if you need these bags. PineTrails,  the board have been informed that Harris County will not pick of any mixed debris. All debris (tree branches and tree wood) which had been cut up is one pile and old fence materials should be in a separate pile and at least 3 feet apart. They will not be picking up furniture, tires or anything not pertaining to storm if the tree debris is green when Harris County comes by this too will not be picked up. Debris number is 713-274-3880
Please be patient we are all in this together.  We have some pipelines that still have tree debris on them. Harris County do not clear the pipeline this is a Pine Trails’ problem. When our neighbors dump on the pipeline and or anywhere in the community our maintenance fees are used to pay for the clean up. This money that could be used for improvement in our community, must be used to clean these dumping areas. Please if see someone dumping do not approach the person take a picture and get a license plate if you can.  This past month thru the Flock System we were able to identify the persons who was making the black circles in our streets because one of our neighbors took a picture of the car and date of the incident.
The Board have been receiving complaints from our neighbor about loud music and parties getting out hand at some homes, other residents blocking their mail boxes, other residents parking in front of their homes, yes the streets are public. This a community with families with school aged children, senior citizens and people just trying to live life.
We are asking each resident to be kind and considerate of your neighbors.  Sometimes all it takes is to put yourself in their shoes. If you have visitors which is understanding just communicate with your neighbor.  But if you have a long-term guest, please inform them. Do not block the front of their house, you might be hindering important access to their home. Please be kind to each other.
School is back in session —Watch out for kids!
Pine Trails’ Board elections are coming OCTOBER 1, 2024!  Watch your mail for your BALLOT
