OFS SOLID WASTE

Guidelines 

1. Trash is picked up Mondays and Thursdays curbside 
2. Trash must be placed for pickup before 7 a.m. 
   
   

Policies 

1. Tree limbs must be under 50ft long, cut, tied and no more than 40 – 50lbs per bundle. 
2. Construction debris- rocks, bricks, concrete, dirt, roofing, lumber, carpet, etc. will not be collected. 
3. Unsafe containers, (sharp edges, holes, etc.) will not be emptied. 
4. Containers or bags over 50lb weight limit- please reduce weight for the next service pick up, volume exceeds weight limit. 
5. Containers over 35gallon size limit- no 55-gallon drums 
6. Unsafe hazardous chemicals, paint, large tree trunks, railroad cross ties, etc. will not be picked up. 
7. Items must be drained of refrigerant and tagged before disposal, be certified refrigerant recycled safe.
